Kenneth John Abbott Jr., age 28, passed away suddenly in Weymouth on October 1, 2015. Kenny was born, raised, and educated in E. Boston then moved and settled in Weymouth at the age of fifteen. As a child Kenny loved Baseball but as he grew up he got involved with Mixed Martial Arts and began training for it. Although Kenny had his struggles in life he was always passionate about his health and his family. He would offer advice about how to be healthy even if you didn’t ask for it. Kenny’s most prized accomplishments in life were the love he had for his son, and becoming a certified personal trainer.

Kenny is survived by his beloved son Kevin Pierre of Norwood, his loving parents Kenneth J. Abbott Sr. of Lynn and Debra O’Neill of Weymouth, his cherished grandmother Edith Abbott of E. Boston, his devoted sisters Kristin and Jazlynn Abbott of Lynn, his Aunt Charlotte Pulsifer and his Uncles Paul Abbott and Timothy O’Neill. Kenny is also survived by many other relatives, friends, and especially Lovely Patrick, Farrah Alkanan, and Noemi Silva.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours for Kenny on Friday October 9, 2015 from 5-8pm at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home on Saturday October 10th, 2015 at 8:30am for a Celebration of Life prior to the Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth, at 9:30am.
