James W. Diamond

James Diamond, age 52, formerly of Weymouth, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
He was the beloved son of the late James and Patricia Diamond. Jim is survived by his son, Michael Diamond and is the brother of Katherine Nixon, Linda Murphy, George Diamond, Gail Dobbins, Janice Appleby, Pamela Frizzell and Michael Diamond. Jim also is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Christine Flynn and her daughter Lauren and many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind many close and loyal friends.
Jim loved having a good time with his family and friends and was an avid Bruins, Patriots and Red Sox fan.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours for Jim on Tuesday, September 22 from 4-8 pm at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home on Wednesday, September 23 at 8:30 am for a Celebration of Life prior to the Funeral Mass at 9:30 am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 234 Pleasant St. S. Weymouth. Interment will be in the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
