Ronald F. Lemieux

Ronald F. Lemieux, age 66, passed away at Kindred Hospital Stoughton on Easter Sunday April 5, 2015. Ronnie was the son of the late Malcolm F. and Alberta Lemieux of Quincy. He is survived by his sister Susan Machado and her husband James of Weymouth and brother Edward Lemieux and wife Ferne of Whitman. Nieces and nephews Michele and Don Lesandrini of Weymouth, James and Katie Machado of Marblehead, Susan and Kevin Kerrigan of Mansfield, Christopher and Jessica Machado of Rockland and Jonathan Machado and Tara Garden of Weymouth. He also leaves 9 adoring great nieces and nephews Nikolas, Victoria and Lily Lesandrini, Ava, James and Tyler Machado, Bryan and Caroline Kerrigan and Rosalie Machado.
Ron was born and spent most of his whole life in Hough’s Neck in Quincy. He loved living there and all the Neckers.
Ron graduated from QHS in 1966 and went on to become an x-ray technician at Quincy Hospital graduating from Northeastern University.
Ron was an avid runner and could be seen running the streets of Hough’s Neck where he greeted or stopped to talk to his many friends. He continued running until his body would no longer let him run. He was also a big Red Sox fan, never missing a game.
His favorite thing in life to do was holidays with the family and friends. Fierce games of Trivial Pursuit, a cold mug of Dr. Pepper and a ring ding made him a happy man! He will be missed by all his family and many friends.
Visiting hours will be on Friday, April 10th from 4 to 8pm. at the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth.
