Dorothy E. Brown

Dorothy E. (Carroll) Brown, Age 92, passed away at the South Shore Hospital on Tuesday, March 31, 2015.
Dorothy was the wife of the late Russell E. Brown Sr. and is survived by her four children, Russell E. Brown Jr. of Rockland, Daniel W. Brown of Braintree, Alan D. Brown of Weymouth and Jo-Ann Gay of Hingham and her brother Daniel Carroll of Abington. She also leaves 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy is predeceased by her son, Douglas W. Brown.
Dot was born in Weymouth and was a lifelong resident of Braintree. She loved playing Bingo, making ceramics, and being with her family.
A Memorial Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Square) S. Weymouth on Saturday, April 11 at 9 AM. Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
