Helen L. Wishart

Helen L. (Niemi) Wishart, age 94, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 5, 2015.
Helen was the wife of the late William E. Wishart Sr. and is survived by her 2 children Susan J. Elsner of Pembroke and William E. Wishart Jr. of S. Weymouth. She also leaves her 5 grandchildren, David S. Elsner Jr. of Pembroke, Deborah A. Dyer of Pembroke, Mark E. Elsner of Plymouth, Sheri L. Ham of Hingham and Stacy L. Blasser of Pennsylvania and her 10 great grandchildren. Helen is predeceased by her daughter, Janet Blasser.
She was born and grew up in Quincy, graduated from Quincy High School in 1939 and has lived in Weymouth for the last 62 years. During World War II she was a secretary at the Fore River Shipyard.
Helen was devoted to her family and enjoyed reading and vacationing with her family at her Cape House.
A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Thursday, January 8 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be on Wednesday from 3 to 7 PM. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in S. Weymouth.
