Dona E. (Grono) Kimball, age 60, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dona was the wife of James H. Kimball and the daughter of Thomas Grono and his wife Ruth of Hanover and the late Constance Grono, the sister of Wayne Grono and his wife Mary of East Waterboro, ME, Cheryl Ange and her husband Michael of Sanger, TX, the aunt of Matthew Ange of Dallas, TX, Sarah Ange of Sanger, TX, Kyle Coburn-Grono and Lauren Coburn-Grono both of ME and Tara Tatro of CT. Dona also leaves her brother in law Joseph Kimball and his wife Nancy, her sister in law, Mary Kimball and her many friends at the Church of the Holy Nativity.
Dona was born in Brockton, grew up in Whitman and has lived in Abington for the last 21 years. She was a Trade Show Coordinator for Meditech of Canton for 32 years.
Dona was an active member of the Church of the Holy Nativity and enjoyed crafting and knitting for their Holly Fair and recently took up Golf and enjoyed traveling to Florida and Texas to visit family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Church of the Holy Nativity, 8 Nevin Rd. S. Weymouth on Tuesday, November 25 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Monday from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Brockton.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dona’s memory to the Church of the Holy Nativity General Operating Fund, 8 Nevin Rd., S. Weymouth, MA 02190. If you would like to leave a message for the family please click on the candle.
