Edwina M. Paradice

Edwina M. (Riley) Paradice, age 89, passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital on Monday, November 17, 2014. Edwina was the wife of the late Walter R. Paradice and is survived by her son, Arthur P. Paradice and his wife Lori of Groveland, her grandchildren, Michelle Paradice of Weymouth, Melissa Paradice of Quincy, David Paradice of Hull, Brian Paradice of Manchester, NH and Jenna Paradice of Concord, NH, her brother, Edward Riley of Carver and her sister Ethel Lyons of CA. She also leaves her daughter in law, Lois Paradice of Concord, NH and is predeceased by her son Richard Paradice.
Edwina was born in Quincy, was a resident of Weymouth for 36 years where she was a member of the Wessagussett Chapter of Eastern Star, lived in Henniker, NH and Concord, NH before moving to Groveland, MA 4 years ago.
She was homemaker and worked for several local variety stores in Weymouth. Her favorite work experience was serving as a hostess for the New England College Elder Hostel in Henniker, NH.
A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday, November 21 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM. An Eastern Star Service will be held on Thursday at 7:30 PM by the Pilgrim Chapter of Eastern Star. Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Weymouth.
