Karen A. Miele

Karen A. (McNutt) Miele, age 67, passed away peacefully at the New Bedford Health Care Center on Saturday, October 11, 2014. She was the wife of the late Francesco Miele and is survived by her 3 children, Tina Phillips and her husband Neil of Marshfield, Anthony Miele and his wife Alison of Halifax and Thomas Miele of Weymouth and her 2 sisters, Virginia Rowley of Stoughton and Sandra Miceli of Vernon, CT. She also leaves her 3 grandchildren, Christopher Hebert of Quincy, Alexander Phillips of Marshfield and Anthony Miele, Jr. of Halifax and several nieces and nephews.
Karen was born and lived most of her life in Weymouth and served her country in Germany as a Nurse during the Vietnam War. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart Church, 72 Washington St. Weymouth Landing on Friday, October 24 at 9:30 AM immediately followed by the grave side service at Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth.
