Dorothy M. (Rampp) Cellini, 88, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 23, 2014.
Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Anthony D. Cellini, her husband of 40 years. She will be missed by her children, Dorothy A. Cellini of Weymouth and Anthony D. Cellini Jr. and his wife Denise M. Cellini of Bridgewater, her cherished grandsons, Christian A. Cellini and Brian A. Cellini both of Bridgewater, her cousin, Charles Mertz III of VA and her sisters-in-law, Rose Praetsch of Hanover and Alian Innacchero and her husband Tony of Brockton. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Albany, NY, Quincy and Braintree before moving to Weymouth. She was a graduate of North Quincy High School and worked in Boston after graduation. Dorothy married in 1959 and was a loving homemaker. She also held positions at Jordan Marsh and Sears.
She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Tony and “the gang” from the Quincy American Legion Morissette Post. Dorothy loved spending summers on the lake in New Hampshire with her family and friends and loved painting, needlework, her dog “Moose” and was an avid reader.
Visiting Hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday, August 27 from 4 to 8 PM. Friends and family are also invited to visit prior to the Funeral on Thursday, August 28 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM with the Funeral Service at the Funeral Home at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in the Mt. Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy.
