Beverly A. (Pattison) Carew, 81 of Hanover went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 15th. Beverly graduated from Boston City School of Nursing and worked as a well-respected Registered Nurse at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hanover and served on many committees. She touched the lives of her family and friends with her caring and giving nature and will be sadly missed.
Beverly was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Richard S. Carew in February of this year. She was also predeceased by a son Stephen Eric Carew, a brother, Richard Pattison, and a Grandson Matthew McCormack. She is survived by two daughters, Lee Ann (Carew) Zeppetelle and her husband Robert of West Greenwich, Rhode Island, and Jodi Lyn (Carew) McCormack and her husband, Richard of Carver, MA, a sister, Lynne Deane, and her husband Richard. Three adoring grandchildren survive her, Kimberly McCormack, Amy Pettinella and her husband Anthony, and Adam Kilnapp and one cherished Great Grandson, Anthony Pettinella, survives her. She leaves many nieces and nephews who treasured her as well.
A Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Hanover on Friday June 20 at 2 PM. Visiting Hours will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Beverly’s memory to the First Baptist Church in Hanover, 580 Webster St. Hanover, MA 02339 or the First Baptist Church in Hanson, 214 Main St. Hanson, MA 02341. If you would like to leave a message please click on the candle.
