Kimberly Joy Bresnahan, age 52, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 25th 2014. She went peacefully surrounded by family and friends at South Shore Hospital. She fought bravely, battling breast cancer for two years.

She was the beloved daughter of Dorothy M. Winders, of Wheatland CA, and her late father Sidney C. Winders and her loving sister, Karen L. Winders of Quincy. Kimberly is survived by her two sons, Shaun M. Bresnahan and his wife Sarah C. Bresnahan of Halifax and Andrew J. Bresnahan of Weymouth.

Kimberly was a lifelong resident of Weymouth and graduated from Weymouth High School, Class of 1979, continuing to college at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, Quincy Jr. College and sought further education. Kimberly worked full time while raising her two sons. She made many close friends during her lifetime and enjoyed their company and friendships. Kimberly loved keeping herself busy with her green thumb, crafting and crocheting & reading scripture. She enjoyed life fully and reflected it to all who knew her. Kimberly will be greatly missed by her family and all of her friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the South Shore Hospital staff for the care and services provided to Kimberly and her family.

A Memorial Service will be held at Community Baptist Church, 17 Mutton Lane , East Weymouth Thursday June 12th, at 1 PM. A final resting place will be at the Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High Street, Canton Ma 02021.
