Sidney Drukman, age 99, passed away at the Life Care Center of the South Shore in Scituate on Sunday April 27, 2014. Mr. Drukman was the husband of the late Helen (Spirtt) Drukman and is survived by his son, Edward Drukman and his wife, Lois of Weymouth and his stepdaughter, Ida Greenberg and her husband, Robert of Holbrook. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Sidney is predeceased by his stepson, Robert Gouner, his brothers, Hyman, Albert, Arnold and Max Drukman and his sister Ruth Fitzgerald.
Sidney was born and grew up in Boston, lived in Quincy for 17 years before moving to Weymouth for the last 22 years. He was a founding member of the Quincy Deaf Club and was a past member of the Boston Deaf Club.
Visiting will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. S. Weymouth (Columbian Sq.) on Tuesday April 29 from 10 to 11 AM followed by a Graveside Service at the Koretz Cemetery, 776 Baker St. West Roxbury at 12 PM.
