Bernardine E. Crockett

Bernardine E. Crockett, “Bernie” or “Gram”, age 89, passed away on February 15th, 2014. Born in Boston, Bernie and her late beloved husband Larry moved to South Weymouth in the 1950’s. Bernie was a Navy Veteran serving during WW II at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland. She also worked making eyeglasses at Smith Optical Co. in Boston. Bernie enjoyed gardening, sewing, scrapbooking, but most of all cooking. Sister of the late Edward Graziano and the late June L. Colvin. Bernie is survived by her daughter Karen and her husband Mark Landry of South Weymouth, her daughter Lauren E. Crockett and her partner Janet Thomas of Laconia, NH. She also is survived by her 3 grandchildren Tara O’Connor, Lawrence (Lee) Landry & Elise Landry all of South Weymouth and her 2 great Grandsons Jason Landry & Wyatt O’Connor.
Visiting will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday February 19 from 4 to 5 PM immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 5 PM.
