Neil L. VanLeuvan

Neil L. VanLeuvan, 58, passed away after a long illness on February 9th 2014. At the time of his death, Neil was in his home and surrounded by loved ones. He was the husband of Donna (Roberts) VanLeuvan, and father to Daniel and Emily VanLeuvan. Neil leaves behind a sister, Gail Annese, a niece, Lauren Annese, and a nephew, Joseph Annese. He is also survived by a sister-in law and a brother-in law, Denise and Bob Lambert. Neil was the son of Dr. Daniel VanLeuvan and Florence VanLeuvan and was born in Port Chester, New York. He grew up in New York, Maine, and Dudley Massachusetts, and graduated from Clark University. For many years, Neil worked as an educator in both public and private schools. At the time of his retirement he was a Senior Lecturer of Mathematics at Suffolk University. Neil loved spending time with his family and taking his beloved dogs for long walks. He will be forever remembered for his intelligence, sense of humor, and gentle personality. A memorial service for Neil will be held in May in Kennebunk, Maine.
