Francis X. Hayes

Francis X. Hayes Sr., age 81, of East Weymouth passed away at his home on January 12. 2014. Husband of the late Phyllis E. (Grant) Hayes. Father of Stephen Hayes of Carver, Robert Hayes of Weymouth, Marion Lauper of Kingston and Francis Hayes Jr. of North Attleboro. Brother of Mary Littlewood and Harold J. Hayes Jr. both of Melrose. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He is predeceased by his parents Mary R. (Noonan) Hayes and Harold Hayes both born in Charlestown. Francis was born in Charlestown and was an electrician and 57 year member of Local 103 IBEW. Francis served his country as a Corporal in the Army during the Korean War.
Visiting Hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday January 14 from 3 to 7 PM.
