Thomas J. Mullen

Thomas J. Mullen, age 50, of Weymouth passed away at the South Shore Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, December 28, 2013. Tom was the son of Harold J. Mullen and the late Grace A. Mullen of Weymouth, the brother of the late Maureen Mullen Menard and her husband Darius Menard of Brooklyn, NY and Patricia Mullen Verge and her husband Robert Verge of Medfield. He was the devoted uncle of his 2 nieces, Irena Menard and Jenna Verge and his nephew Austin Verge.
Thomas was a lifelong Weymouth resident and graduated from Weymouth South High School in 1981.
He was a self-employed Flooring Finisher for many years. Golf was his passion in life and he loved to cook and be with his family, his favorite place was to be in Plymouth at the beach house with his family.
The Funeral will be from the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Thursday January 2 at 9 AM followed by the funeral Mass at the St. Francis Xavier Church, 234 Pleasant St. S. Weymouth at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM. A private burial will be held at a later date at Forest Hills Cemetery.
