Edmond J. Himmel

Edmond J. Himmel, age 52, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday October 31, 2013. Edmond was the son of the late George and Nancy Himmel of Braintree. Survived by his sister Liz Milch and her husband John of South Weymouth, his brother, George Himmel and his wife Susan of Pittsfield, his brothers John Himmel and his wife Mary Claire of Quincy, Andrew Himmel of Westwood and his sister Jeanne Barry and her husband Robert of Braintree. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Eddie grew up in Braintree and attended St. Coletta’s Day School and has lived in Quincy for the last several years. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan who tried to never a game. Mr. Himmel was employed at Beard and Son’s Gulf Gas Station in Quincy.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street in Braintree on Saturday November 9, 2013 at 10:30 AM.
