Adeline S. Clifford

Adeline S. (Ferrante) Clifford, age 95, passed away at home on Thursday October 17, 2013. Mrs. Clifford was the wife of the late Rodney B. Clifford and is survived by her daughter, Madeline Ventresca and her husband Michael of Braintree and her son Kenneth Clifford and his wife Janet of S. Weymouth, She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Adeline was born in Boston, grew up in East Boston and lived in Quincy for 27 years before moving to S. Weymouth 18 years ago. She was educated in East Boston Schools.
Mrs. Clifford was a sales clerk for Filene’s in Down Town Crossing for 25 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday October 22 at 8:30 AM, the Funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart Church, 55 Commercial St. Weymouth Landing at 9:30 AM and the Visiting Hours on Monday 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Tuesday at 12:45 PM.
