Richard F. McKinnon

Richard McKinnon, age 58, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 13, 2013. He was the owner of Walter A. McKinnon Associates, Structural and Consulting Engineers and past president and active member of Weymouth Rotary.
Rich is survived by his wife of 37 years, Barbara (Spangenberger) McKinnon, his two daughters, Karen McKinnon of Dorchester and Laura McKinnon of Weymouth, his father, Walter A. McKinnon of Weymouth, his brother Wally McKinnon of Braintree and his two sisters, Leslie Lydon of Bridgewater and Nancy McKinnon of Stetson, ME. He also leaves his father in law, Eugene Spangenberger of Hobe Sound, FL, his brother and sister in law, Joe and Patty Spangenberger of Scituate, his brother in law Paul Spangenberger of Sabattus, ME and many nieces and nephews. Richard is predeceased by his mother, Dorothy McKinnon and his mother in law, Janet Spangenberger.
Rich enjoyed playing war games and was an avid Boston sports fan.
Visiting Hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Service, 134 Pleasant St. S. Weymouth on Wednesday, October 16 from 3 to 7 PM immediately followed by the Funeral Service at the Funeral Home at 7 PM.
