Frank Earle Noyes, age 73, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family after a 3 year struggle with Multiple Myeloma on Friday, March 15. He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Patricia (Mullen) Noyes, the devoted father of Anna Noyes of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lisa (Noyes) Trochez of Brockton, Frank Noyes of West Palm Beach, FL and the adoring grandfather of Brian and Daniel Trochez. Frank also leaves his brothers, Carl Ameen of Pittsfield, MA and David Noyes of AZ. He was predeceased by his parents Earle and Anna (Ameen) Noyes.
Frank was born in Boston, grew up in Quincy and spent 47 years in S. Weymouth. He worked at the Quincy Ship Yard, Wollaston Alloys, Hersey Water Meter Co. of Dedham and Getty and Rooney’s Gas Stations.
He loved his Boston sports teams and enjoyed watching the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Patriots. Frank loved to stay busy and would always lend a hand to anyone in need. He will truly be missed and remembered by many for his selfless acts of kindness.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday, March 19 from 4 to 6:30 P.M. immediately followed by the Funeral Service at 6:30 P.M. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the Old South Union Church Youth Group, 25 Columbian St. S. Weymouth, MA 02190-2414. or the Dana Farber/ Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center, 101 Columbian St. S. Weymouth, 02190.
