Shirley A. Pineau

Shirley A. (Pratt) Pineau, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 10, 2013. Shirley is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald Pineau Sr., her 4 sons, Donald Pineau Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Weymouth, Paul Pineau and his wife Rita of Auburn, ME, Stephen Pineau of Weymouth and his friend Danielle of Plymouth, and Brian Pineau and his wife Jill of Abington, her 13 grandchildren, Sarah, Kristen, Abigail and Leah Pineau all of Weymouth, Charlie Pineau of Kansas City, MO, Eddie Pineau of Dorchester, Christina of Auburn, ME and Daniel Griffin of Plymouth, Kyle, Michael, Calli, Cameron and Summer Pineau all of Abington. She also leaves her sister June Jackson of Abington, her brother Joseph Pratt of FL and many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was a life long resident of Weymouth and loved to care for children, bake, especially decorating cakes, and arts and crafts. Her life revolved around her family and friends. A funeral service will be held at The First Church in Weymouth on Friday, March 15 at 11 A.M. Visiting hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. Donations may be made in Shirley’s memory to The First Church in Weymouth, 17 Church St. Weymouth, MA 02189.
