Stella M. Hollis

Stella M. (Brann) Hollis, age 95, passed away at the South Shore Hospital on Tuesday January 22, 2013. Stella was the wife of the late Charles Hollis and is survived by her daughter, Patricia Sprague and her husband Harry of Weymouth and her grandson, Ryan Hollis Sprague of Weymouth. She is the sister of Cecil Brann of Somerville, Me, Wanda Brann of Pacifica, CA and Leon Emery of Windsor, ME. Stella leaves her sister in law Mardi Hollis of Weymouth. She was the aunt of the late Jennifer Hollis Shapiro and is survived by Jennifer’s widower, Robert Shapiro and is the great aunt of Jessica Arce, Leah Ciliberto, Sarah Stirling, and Jacob and Joel Shapiro. She also leaves 3 great grandnephews and many nieces and nephews in Maine.
Stella was born in Somerville, ME and has lived in Weymouth since 1935. She is a retired assembler at Sigma Instruments where she worked for 26 years.
A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday January 25 at 1 P.M. Visiting Hours are omitted.
