Lillian F. Stiles

- Lillian F. “Babe” (Jordan) Stiles, age 87, passed away at the South Shore Hospital on Tuesday December 25. 2012. Babe was survived by her husband of 67 years, Russell A. Stiles Jr., her grandson, Brian R. Stiles and his wife Erin of Scituate, her 3 great grandchildren, Cole, Shawn and Brianne Stiles all of Scituate and her cousin in law Harriet Whisman of N. Weymouth. She is predeceased by her son, Robert Stiles.
Lillian was born and grew up in Weymouth and lived in Scituate for the last 46 years. She and her husband owned the Grove Street Variety Store in Scituate for 8 years and she taught yoga out of her house for years. Babe was a passionate gardener and artist and loved spending time with her cat, Inky. She was a descendant from the Mayflower.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Old North Cemetery at North St. in N. Weymouth on Monday, December 31 at 1 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Babe’s memory to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
