Maynard D. Lumbra

Maynard D. Lumbra passed away at the South Shore Hospital on Friday December 21, 2012 at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Cheryl A.B. (Stetson) Lumbra. Loving father of Melissa A.L. Petta of Whitman, Christine M. Ryan of Weymouth, Barbara J. Leone of Whitman and Cui Lumbra of Weymouth. Also survived by his 5 children in CT. Brother of Gerald Lumbra of FL. Also survived by his 4 grandchildren Christopher, Alyssa, Austin, and Madison. Maynard was born in Burlington, VT and lived in Wallingford, CT and for the last 22 years Weymouth, MA. He was a very devoted family man and took care of his grandchildren. He was a member of United Lodge AM & FM of Weymouth, Brockton Chapter of Order of Eastern Star and also was a member of Calvary Chapel in Rockland where he did ministry work including working with prison inmates at Plymouth County House of Correction. Visiting hours for Maynard will be held on Thursday December 27, from 4:00-7:30 p.m. at the CC Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) South Weymouth followed by a Masonic Service and Eastern Star Service and Funeral Service starting at 7:30 p.m. relatives and friends invited.
