Joseph T. Mackin

Joseph T. Mackin, age 59, passed away at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brookline on Wednesday, December 5. Joseph is survived by his wife, Juanita (Ferreire) Mackin, his son, Luke Mackin, his step son, Rodrigo Freitas both of Quincy, his 2 brothers, Richard W. Mackin and his wife Claudia of Newton, William H. Mackin of Quincy and Patricia Rockwood and her husband Edward of Quincy. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. Joseph was the son of the late William H. and Dorothy L. (Mielbye) Mackin. He was born in Weymouth and lived in Quincy for the last 8 Years. Joseph was a Registered Nurse and had worked at Central Boston Elder Services. He loved spending time with family and enjoyed watching Football and Baseball games. Funeral Services will be private.
