Glenn Richard Murray, age 53, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the son of Richard and Jacqueline Murray of Weymouth, Glenn was born and grew up in Weymouth and graduated from Weymouth Vocational High School. Glenn was the loving husband of Kathleen (Kelley) Murray and the loving father of Keith and Neil Murray all of Weymouth. He was the devoted brother of his sister, Karen Murray Dean of San Jose, CA and his brother, Alan Murray and his wife Heather of Virginia Beach, VA. Glenn also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, his mother in law, brothers in law and sisters in law and many friends.
Glenn owned and operated GM Networks, a computer service company. Glenn was a member of the Weymouth Sportsmen’s Club, the American Pool Players Association and the Weymouth Elks. He was an avid Patriots Fan and most of all loved riding his motorcycle.
Although he was taken away from his family much too soon, they are all very grateful for the blessings that he brought into their lives. He was a loyal friend and could always be counted on. Glenn will leave a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Visiting Hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Sunday, December 9 from 4to8 P.M.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 241 Broad St., Weymouth on Monday, December 10 at 11 A.M.
