Cleo (Roderson) Foley

Cleo (Roderson) Foley, age 87, a resident of Duxbury House, died at Jordan Hospital on March 13th, 2012. She was the daughter of Tarpe and Theodore Roderson and the wife of the late Paul Foley. Cleo grew up in Weymouth and raised her children in Braintree. She later retired to Centerville and Weymouth. She was the loving mother of Paula Hennebury and her husband Raymond of Duxbury, Dennis Foley and his wife Dorothy of Weymouth and Pamela Callaway of Norwood. She was the sister of Stella Cook, the late Anna Makrokanis, Athena, James, Charles, Fredrick and Arthur Roderson. She is survived by six grandchildren, Lori, Brian, Andrew, Corey, Brandon and Matthew and six great-grandchildren, Nicolas, Lia, Patrick, Audryelle, Austin and Audra. Cleo enjoyed her retirement years with Paul in Centerville especially spending time on Dowser’s beach and hosting cookouts for family celebrations. Cleo will always be remembered as a kind and generous woman who loved taking care of all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at the St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common St. Braintree on Saturday, March 17 at 10 A.M. Visiting Hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday from 4 to 8 P.M.
