Patricia E. Basford

Patricia E. (Heger) Basford, age 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 7, 2011surrounded by her loving family. Pat was the wife of the late Herbert L. Basford and is survived by her 2 sons, Paul Basford and his wife Elizabeth and James Basford and his wife Carol both of Rockland, her 3 grandchildren James Basford and his wife Kelly of Ohio, Rhonda Basford of Brockton and Kristin Basford of Rockland her 2 great grandchildren, Kaley and Savanna Basford both of Ohio and her great niece, Rhoda Lawrence of CT. She also leaves her daughter-in-law, Janet Basford-Draheim and her husband Jim of Brockton. Patricia is predeceased by 2 sons, Robert and Ronald Basford.
She was born and grew up in Boston and has lived in East Weymouth since 1955. Before retiring in 1984 Pat was a Home Health Aide for many years at the Upham’s Corner Health Center in Dorchester.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Saturday December 10 from 10 to 11 A.M. followed immediately by a Funeral Service at the Funeral Home at 11 A.M. Interment will be in the Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
