Christine Pickering

Christine (Sebade) Pickering, age 64, passed away at the Weymouth Health Care Center on Thursday September 15, 2011. Christine was the wife of the late Franklin C. Pickering and is survived by her children, Scott Pickering and his Wife Patti of Weymouth, Jeff Pickering and his wife Cindy of Weymouth and Beth King and her husband Glenn of Hingham and her sister Eleanor Bingham of Norwood. She also leaves many grandchildren. Christine was predeceased by her daughter, Christa Pickering and her brother, Frederick Sebade. She grew up in South Boston and has lived in Weymouth for over 40 years. Christine was a secretary for Del Realty in Weymouth for over 20 years before she retired 4 years ago. A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday September 20 at 10 A.M. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 4 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. Donations may be made in Christine’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
